He then looks for something to tie her to. He opens the cabinet doors slightly to reveal the vertical piece of wood between them that acts as a doorstop, and ties her wrists to that. He imagines slamming the cabinet doors onto her wrists and breaking them, but he's not going to do that. He's trying to be... Good, or something.
