"Think about it this way." She said, pulling the knife free and tracing the tip along his collarbone, not quite pressing in there yet. "Even you were ashamed of how you acted with me, how you treated me while you fucked me bloody on the couch. We had an agreement not to tell Jeritza because it would break his fucking heart, or whatever your logic was. I've said you could hurt me, cut me, abuse my body all you want, but if you're sticking your dick in me, it's going to be with my full permission. He grunts again as she pulls the knife out of him. Good thing they aren't on another piece of furniture this time. She must have had the foresight. She and Jeritza planned this. If the two are in cahoots against him, that's not good. He needs more leverage.
"You misunderstand, Nina. I was not ashamed because I humiliated you. I did not know that I humiliated you. I was ashamed to succumb to sexual desire of any sort. It is base and beneath me. She leaned back to stand and help sit him up enough to cut the bindings on his wrist. "I feel like our mutual understanding has been very beneficial to our relationship. If not, I'll just wait for Jeritza to come back."

She stood up again, knife tucked away safely on her person, over to the sink to wet a cloth she had already brought out... for Jeritza. But whatever.

He gets up, walking to the bathroom and shutting the door. He cleans the last of the blood off of himself, looking at the brand on his chest. N. Bile rises in his throat. Disgusting, enraging. He'll erase it, but the gall of that girl...
